Location was great. Very clean, breakfast was good with western and Japanese options.

Wonderful

Great location 2min from subway station. Spotless clean, great room with all amenities, very nice and helpful staff. Just next to the Manga Museum and to ShinPuhKan (covered shopping mall and food, went there when raining). Would highly recommend. Very good price.

Great stay, friendly staff, and super breakfast and a foot massager!!!

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a normal size. The breakfast was very nice and had lots of choices. The hotel offered a complimentary foot massage machine that we were able to keep in our room for the duration of our stay...AMAZING!!!

Great

Good selection for Japanese breakfast which I love, although the quality could have been a little better. Size of the room ok, better than APA. Lots of amenities available. Great location, I think that area is really nice, you can even get to Osaka from the Karasuma station. Good washing machines available. staff helpful, you can ship your luggage to another city for a charge, just ask at the desk. Super useful.

Excellent value for money

The hotel was very clean with a great choice of amenities and an amazing breakfast. The value for money was unbeatable. The staff were all friendly, there's a subway station less than a minute's walk away, and you can reach a lot of attractions by foot if you don't mind a pleasant 20-45min walk.

The bath tub only allows water to reach a certain level before it starts draining, so I couldn't have as deep a bath as I'd like, and the pillows dissolved into nothing when you put your head on them, but this place was otherwise incredible.

Great value for money

This hotel way exceeded my expectations given the cost. The staff were absolutely lovely and did their best to speak English. Considering how terrible my Japanese is, I really appreciated their efforts. I was also so grateful for the baggage shipping service, I only had to pay roughly $27-$30AUD to have my suitcase transported from the hotel to my next hotel all the way back in Tokyo, it arrived two days after (it would have arrived the next day if I had organised it earlier in the day but I forgot until about 5pm so that’s my own fault ). The hotel is nice and close by to the main road area that has lots of different conbinis and restaurants and a station entrance not to far away as well. Having access to a washing machine/dryer was so useful as someone who tried to pack light and have lots of room to bring back souvenirs, especially since they automatically dispense detergent so you don’t have to worry about purchasing any. There is also a vending machine in the hotel which is super useful and another one directly across the road where you can stock up on water before a day trip. There were also free umbrellas in the entrance way and a station to wrap them up so they don’t drip, a self check in/check out station, a shelf of ammenities like bath salts, toothbrushes etc and a little station of power banks. The aesthetic of the exterior of the hotel was really neat too, especially the front doors. It was a great experience and I only paid $381AUD for two nights.

There were a few very minor things I didn’t like about the hotel: my hotel room was directly facing an office building and the workers were often there until up to 8pm or 9pm working. I had to leave the blackout curtain open because I struggle to wake up when they are closed, so I only had the thin little curtain and I could see them and they more than likely could see me at any time of day I was in the room between 8am-9pm, there was also no closet space and instead just a little wall rack with some coat hangers - I didn’t really need a closet so this was fine for me but if you need one, that may be an issue. The washing machines/dryers are located on the first floor past reception, it felt a little bit embarrassing walking past the hotel staff with my arms full of washing. Lastly, the hotel can be a little difficult to find seeing as it’s in an alleyway off of the main road and if you’re like me, you’re going to struggle to type the entire hotel name as it is quite long in to google maps and there’s another one under the same hotel group close by, so it is very easy to get lost or end up at the wrong hotel. These are all very minor things that didn’t affect my enjoyment of my stay, however they are things that I think everyone booking should know :)

Excellent room and staff attention to details. It is somewhat close to a metro station.

The location was a bit off the more convenient areas for where I wanted to visit (but that is on me, not the hotel’s fault).

Breakfast was outstanding,so many choices. Convenient to public transit, many places to eat, couple of grocery stores nearby. One of our most satisfying hotel stays ever.

Great hotel with everything that you would need!

Great hotel very near to metrostation Oika Karasuma. Nice big room with comfortable beds and everything you will need. Every day there is cleaning and tea and water provided. The breakfast was nice and fresh with traditional japaneese dishes.

There was no toilet brush in the toilet. A bigger variety of breakfest options (more vegetables and fruits) would be nice.
